As you know whenever stop here at Elevey and this definitely hasn't changed in the past week or so.?

Brady Jnr returned from her holidays! Then went straight into networking at a great event hosted by BITA , if you haven't been to Swingers in London then go ??

At the beginning of this week, both Bradys were needed for an all-day client meeting, reviewing planning and tasting their brand-new menu! Can confirm it was to die for and the Brady bunch ate wayyy too much cheese ??

Yesterday Brady Snr attended the Inner Circle workshop hosted by Adam Strong . It was an extremely insightful day that Brady Snr took a lot from if you haven't already checked it out...it is definitely going to change your business for the better.?

Know. Like. Trust.

Those are the 3 magic words when it comes to sales, marketing and building relationships.?

When you connect or follow someone online you are ultimately taking interest in them and getting to know them.?

LinkedIn knowing this has just made our lives a little bit easier.?

Now you may or may not have noticed a shiny brand new feature called 'Catch-Up'.?

This allows you to see when your connections have a birthday, work anniversary and more.?

LinkedIn has said that they have created this feature to...

"...help you start meaningful conversations with your network by showing you the most relevant updates"

People like to be noticed and appreciate the fact that you have taken the time to wish them a happy birthday or congratulate them.?

Why not use this opportunity to start a conversation with someone??

Remember it isn't always about the sale, sometimes it is about collaboration and relationship building.?

Are You A Walking Red Flag? ??

You may not know it but your accountant has some pet hates the same way you do about them.?

Now I cannot speak for everyone but here are some of mine and how you can turn from a red flag to a green one...

??Sending in old receipts?

??You have found that receipt you have been looking for, for ages in a deep dark back pocket. Unfortunately for you, that is old news! Which means it is of no use to us. Instead, ask your accountant/bookkeeper what they actually need, they can then pull off reports or give you a spreadsheet/list.?

??Not paying attention

??The devil is in the detail. What I do is not sexy or exciting I get that but it is fundamental to the success of your business. Without the numbers, you have no clue where you are. If you can't dedicate a certain amount of time or communicate in a different way then just let your accountant/bookkeeper know, we are human after all.?

??Ghosting us and removing yourself from all responsibility.?

??I hate to be the bearer of bad news but ultimately your business and its numbers still belong to you. You can't just dump and run, you need to be actively involved and communicating with us so that we can know what is happening in your business to know what to place where.??We don't and won't take on your whole business!

Be honest with yourself how many times did you say "yep that's me!"...
