Kurrant Guides Brussel’s Energy Utility in Selecting the Best Smart Street Light Solution
Kurrant has been involved in numerous transformative projects across the smart city and utility industry. This week, as we share an episode on Brussels' city strategy, we revisit one of our case studies in the capital of Europe.
Kurrant supported Sibelga, the utility managing electricity and gas in Brussels, in its smart street lighting project. We conducted a comprehensive benchmarking, technical analysis, and drafted technical requirements for RFI and RFP. We also developed a methodology for evaluating bidders' proposals. This ensured smooth integration with Sibelga's systems, avoided single-vendor dependency, and improved the efficiency and energy savings of the city's 90,000 streetlights.
