Browse with True Confidence

A key element to have no doubts about your daily online activity within your abode being your favourite internet browser. Well if you thought your personal data was super secure, think again.

So, it's true everyone loves Google Chrome based on the worldwide statistics from Oberlo Google Chrome's market share is 64.08% as of April 2021. However, this is awesome with the substantial market share comes substantial cyber risks in the form of a plethora of vulnerabilities to the fine tune of 2120 vulnerabilities based on the most current CVE statistics that can be viewed here for yourself:https://www.cvedetails.com/product/15031/Google-Chrome.html?vendor_id=1224.

CVE, short for Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures, is a list of publicly disclosed computer security flaws. When someone refers to a CVE, they mean a security flaw that's been assigned a CVE ID number. Eg) CVE-2021-21232 is the most current between 30th April 2021 and 4th May 2021, which attracted a 6.8 CVSS score. In summary, "Use after free in Dev Tools in Google Chrome before 90.0.4430.93 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page."

So you may ask me what is the difference between CVE and CVS, CVE stands for Common Vulnerability Enumeration, which is a unique identifier for each vulnerability listed in the NIST NVD. CVE is simply a list of all publicly disclosed vulnerabilities, including the CVE ID, a description, dates, and comments. CVSS (Common Vulnerability Scoring System) indicates the severity of each CVE. The CVSS score is not reported in the CVE listing – you must use the NVD to find assigned CVSS scores.
