Q1. Who are Brinscall Village Juniors FC?

"We are a proud Charter Standard Development Club from Brinscall, Chorley in Lancashire. Our club is run entirely with the support & commitment of our wonderful volunteers and parents."

Q2. What is the club’s DNA?

"We are a grassroots club providing opportunities for children of all abilities to play football in a supportive environment. Our success is measured not in wins but the improvement of each player in the four corners of our mission statement; Respect, Responsibility, Teamwork & Sportsmanship."

Q3. What groups do you support?

"From under 6’s though to under 18’s level. Our boys teams play in the Mid Lancashire Colts and Central Lancashire Junior football leagues whilst our girls ‘Wildcat’ teams play in the Poulton & District League."

Q4: What have been your recent successes?

"In the last year we have had teams playing at all age groups for boys and have seen a rapid expansion of our girls team across most age groups. Our under 8’s team have come off an unbelievable season that, whilst there are no league tables until under 12’s, had a faultless win record and are performing at the highest level not just in terms of results but also our four corners. A number of the players are being scouted by top-flight clubs across the north-west."

Q5: What is your connection with Brown & Newirth?

"Well firstly for complete disclosure our head coach Mark is the brother of Sales & Marketing Director Gareth Thomas, so he was able to lean on his big bro for help! However, when Mark presented the club project to Brown & Newirth they were incredibly impressed with the community spirit of the club which aligned with their own values, so they just had to get involved. Brown & Newirth were team equipment sponsor for the 2023/24 season and will be increasing their support of the club over the coming years."

Q6: What are your plans for the future of Brinscall Village Juniors FC?

"More than just a football club we are a community support team and its our goal to offer a safe and supportive environment for all children, regardless of personal circumstances or physical and mental abilities. With support from our incredible volunteers, parent and sponsors we want to be a club for anyone; everyone."

“I love playing for Brinscall because I get to hang out and have loads of fun with my friends, playing football and working hard to beat?the?other?teams we play. I love getting better every week and learning new things, my favourite trick is to ‘send people to?the?shops’ when I megs?the?other player?then score top bins!”
