Brosé Wine Ltd - How it all happened...

Friends and family have recently been asking me how I created and came up with Brosé Wine Ltd . So I thought I'd write a small piece on the topic.

It was March 29th 2019 and it was surprisingly warm that day, and without name dropping etc, I was lounging by the pool at the private members club Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire. I saw a group of men buying bottles of Provence rosé wine in ice buckets and chilling by the pool. I'd seen this trend in London especially down the Kings Road at the Bluebird in Chelsea on a hot summer's day!

I grabbed my bag and walked back from the pool upto the courtyard. I sat down and ordered a glass of Provence rosé wine. I kept thinking rosé is typically seen as more feminine drink, but more and more men are drinking rosé wine than ever, it's a major drink for beach clubs abroad and it's always sold in magnums and jeroboams. So surely the timing is right to create a male focused rosé wine that allowed the Bro's to join the rosé party.

My creative thinking was going off and I thought "Guys drinking rosé together, no brothers drinking rosé together, no hang on! Guys call each other Bro! So why not change rosé to Brosé!" and that was it I had created my new alcoholic brand and beverage.

I went home and I called my Father I asked him to come over and I wanted to tell him about my latest venture and that I was going into the wine business.

My Father arrived and came up to my office, I said "Dad I'm going into the wine business, I've had this idea Brosé! I'm going to make the first male marketed rosé wine and disrupt the wine industry!" I was very excited and my dream was running away with me. My Father replied "That's great son but where will you get the wine, how will you bottle it and bring it to the UK, where will you store it, how will you sell it, are sure about this, it's not going to be easy son" In complete honesty I agreed with my Father, I had no experience in the wine industry and had no idea how I was going to make it all work. The only thing I had was utter self belief and a burning desire to create this product that I could hold in my hands and physically look at, and make it mine!

For many business owners it all starts with an idea and there will be plenty of times you will question yourself and your sanity for that matter "Is it all worth it?"

Whether your business makes it past two years or not I would encourage anyone to give it a go! In my opinion you need two things an idea that you're passionate about and an incredible amount of self belief. If you stick to these fundamentals the rest will follow.

I hope you've enjoyed reading my short article and how I came to create Brosé Wine Ltd

Cheers!
