Brookfield Asset Management is spending US$4.7 billion to take a 62% stake in Los Angeles-based Oaktree Capital Group. Ontario is set to become the first province to ban students from bringing cellphones to class in public schools starting in September. Teachers will grant exemptions as needed for learning, medical care or special needs assistance. A 2015 study found that kids performed better on exams when the phones were banned, especially among low-achieving students. 6 年I wonder why people are NOT talking about pilot error. These planes are really sophisticated, the pilot from Ethiopian Air only had 200 hours...VS 1500 minimum requirement by USA and Canadian standards. Lion Air pilot also had lower flying hours than North American Standards. These companies also have A MASSIVE wage pay gap, so this should be definitely looked at.
