BROKEN SMILES AND BROKEN THOUGHTS

She sits silently by the broken floor

All her sobs have finished long ago, She stares on?as she thinks about her happy days,

A small smile -amidst the broken- lays?

Suddenly?they?come in - her thoughts, the broken ones?

And she still smiles at the irony though there isn't one?

?

Sometimes I wonder about what's going on in her head,?

She's so far away from her bed,?

And then I realise, it doesn't matter,?

The plaguing thoughts have already consumed her

?

And so, I watch on as she parishes while still alive?

And I wonder whether her death could be a celebration or a demise.

?

And I brood while standing by the door,?

She sits silently by the broken floor?

Weeping, cause she couldn't keep it in anymore.
