BROKEN LEADERS

In a fast paced world we are constantly exposed to the successful lives of many and wonder why things don’t happen the way we would want them to. It is a rat race out there and self glorification is the norm of the day. The definition of success changes with time making it even more difficult for each one of us to understand and appreciate what success looks like.?

In the midst of all this electrifying success ,there are, the failures , the mistakes , the anxiety and the stress that creates broken leaders. Leadership as stated in my earlier blogs is about leading yourself and not about your position in an organization and brokenness is part of this journey. Due to the heavy dose of success stories that surrounds us,?we tend to hid the brokenness that arises in us and push it down till it affects our mental, spiritual and physical selfs.?

It is thus important we start embracing the brokenness that is within us . Brokenness that could be a result from failures on the job front , stress on the relationship front, mistakes on the career front?and pain?or sickness on the health front . The fact is that many of us hide this brokenness without actually dealing with it , which means we have to?learn to accept the struggle , decode the struggle and eventually win over the struggle enabling us to become stronger through the process.?

BEING BROKEN IS GOOD, BECAUSE BROKEN LEADERS CREATE STRONG AND HUMBLE LEADERS

Broken Leaders are important in the leadership ecosystem , they will provide a balance in a world where success is over celebrated and achievements overrated . This does not mean we belittle the success of another but we use to inspire us through the brokenness we face. This is not a topic many leaders will speak about but is important for all leaders to ask themselves and win our their struggles. Being Broken is good , because broken leaders create STRONG & HUMBLE LEADERS .?
