Broke? Unsure Why? Read This...

“If you build it, they will come.”?

?? It’s a LIE!? And I HATE it.???

This was the biggest ‘broken record’ that was installed in my head.?

My parents, my sister, coaches, mentors, teachers, and EVERYONE who influenced me growing up used to tell me that “If I build something awesome, people will flock to it, buy it, and you will have the lifestyle you always wanted”!??

Well, I can wholeheartedly say, this is not true. ??

What is true??

The right solution to the right problem for the right people will bring the result you want so you can have the lifestyle you desire…

...and building the right solution is only part of the battle.?

Inviting others to come see your solution is the other part.

Over the past 21+ years, I’ve coached 1000s of sales pros, entrepreneurs, and biz owners.? And I’ve been able to group them into 3 buckets…??

  1. Unaware... This person doesn’t know what he doesn’t know.? All he understands is that he’s broke, broken, doesn’t understand why, and it frustrates him so much, he becomes completely dark inside. He turns into an unemotional robot doing the same thing over and over (never bringing results). He typically has a bad attitude toward everyone around him. ??♂?
  2. Aware... I like to work with these people because they understand that things need to change in order for them to achieve goals.? This is the person that doesn’t just talk about ideas, rather, they’ve built something worth spending more time on.? They’ve sold it to others who have used it and created a big result or impact. These people are usually willing to meet new people, and explore new concepts and ideas.? They adapt slowly, but include new ideas into their world. ??
  3. Adaptive… This is the person who already has a coach, or has had several before.? She understands that change is the only certainty on earth, and is ready to execute quickly on new concepts that make sense.? She has true ambition and hunger to make an impact and create the lifestyle she’s always dreamed of.???

All 3 have a similar back-story.??

They grew up with influencers close to them (like parents, siblings, coaches, teachers) who put stories in their head about what’s right or wrong, or how businesses should be run (even if the influencer never built a business).?

These stories were stored in their minds and played over and over till the ‘broken records’ became beliefs.?

Example, “Don’t Talk To Strangers.”?

We all remember this.? It was installed in us out of love, protection, and respect.?

As we evolve into adults and then into business owners, we need to change this mantra from “Don’t Talk To Strangers” to? “Strangers Are Good For My Business and I need to meet more of them”.

Unfortunately, the Unaware continue to play the “Don’t Talk To Strangers” record over and over….? NEVER making the needed adjustments, continuing to fail, stress out, and crumble.???

Luckily, the Aware Person and the Adaptive Person realize this is happening and start, or have already started down a path of change.??

Which brings me to the main point…?


You must sell to grow your business.?


If you don’t want to sell, there’s a broken record in your head which you must adjust.?

So how do we get there??

Your T.E.A.R.s.?

Not the kind rolling down your cheeks after you get kicked in the privates, but an acronym describing a framework to allow you to break free.?

T.E.A.R. stands for:?
T.hought creates Emotion.?
E.motion creates Action.??
A.ction gets Results.?
R.esults provides Lifestyle.?


All you have to do is re-adjust your thoughts and they will allow you to get started in the direction you need to go to achieve the lifestyle you want.?

If you’re wondering why you’re broke…? It’s just a simple mindset shift.?


New Thoughts = Different Result.?


  • New Thoughts create Better Emotions.
  • Better Emotions create Different Actions.?
  • Different Actions get Big Results.?
  • Big Results provides your Ultimate Lifestyle

Remember what Einstein said, “Doing the same actions over and over and expecting a different outcome is the definition of insanity.”?

Don’t be insane.?
