While our origins were rooted in partnerships, Project JumpStart has evolved into a robust and self-sustaining organization, uniquely positioned to address the needs of our community through collaborative efforts with local organizations and employers. By becoming our own entity, we’re able to prioritize the best interests of our students while preparing them to fill the needs of our employers.?

This independence allows us to:

• Customize Our Programs: With greater flexibility, we can now tailor our training programs to meet the specific demands of Baltimore’s construction industry. This ensures we focus on the areas that will make the biggest impact for both students and employers, preparing our graduates with the most relevant and in-demand skills.

• Develop Stronger Relationships: As an independent entity, we're able to deepen our connections with employers, funders, and community organizations. These strengthened ties allow us to offer top-tier opportunities to our graduates, while employers benefit from a highly skilled workforce.

• Broaden Our Reach: Project JumpStart is able to expand its services across the city and into more communities by working with multiple community partners whose core competencies include case management, wrap services, and?neighborhood outreach; allowing Project JumpStart to focus on education, employment, and industry connections.

• Expand Our Capabilities: Our newfound independence ensures that we can grow with the needs of our community, while remaining flexible enough to take advantage of new opportunities.

This evolution empowers us to build even more comprehensive pathways for our graduates, leading them to sustainable employment while providing long-term support.
