The Broaching Tool

In aero engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), inserts and the corresponding broaching tools are used in various parts of the engine casing. Inserts are typically used in areas where assembly and disassembly must be possible.

To make this job easier, the broaching tool is a great and more secure help to install those inserts in hard material, which we encounter in the casing. Especially where precise alignment is required. To an extend, Anemo Engineering offers not only standard but also custom broaching tools.

The issue was, going deeper in the parent material than what was possible with the standard tool. We designed and manufactured this tool in 6 weeks.
