BRMS discovered additional mineral resource and reserve in its Poboya’s gold mine in Palu

?PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (“BRMS” or “the Company”) today reported that its subsidiary, PT Citra Palu Minerals (“CPM”) just discovered additional mineral resources and reserves in Block 1 (Poboya), Palu, Central Sulawesi. The additional mineral resources come from the River Reef prospect, the Hill Reef 1 prospect, and the new prospect in Watuputih which is on the west side of the River Reef site. Such discovery increases CPM’s mineral resources by 50% from previously 28.4 million tons of ore to 42.7 million tons of ore, with the average gold grade 2.6 g/t. Consequently, CPM’s mineral resesrves also increases by 38% from previously 22.8 million tons of ore to 31.5 million tons of ore, with the average gold grade of 2.4 g/t.?

BRMS’ CEO & President Director, Agus Projosasmito, said,”The additional mineral resources and reserves would increase the production life of our gold mine in Poboya, Palu. We also expect to grow our gold production in the 2H 2023 from our newly constructed 2nd?gold processing facility in Palu. We hope the production increase will have positive impact on our year 2023 financial results.”?
