A movie can be very gratifying to watch; It enables viewers to experience a great deal from the security of a cinema seat or their own home. On the other hand, the way some movies end their stories can leave us feeling lost and confused.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness – 1,850 searches

The talented cast was directed by Sam Raimi, who is well-known to fans of superhero films for his work on the original Spiderman trilogy. Together, they created a spellbinding tale about heartbreak and loss. No one can blame the fans who got a little lost and turned to Google for some clarification because the multiverse is so horrifyingly well depicted.

Eternals – 1,800 searches

Another movie from Marvel that is on the list, this one is about aliens who have woken up after thousands of years to defend Earth from the Deviants. Fans praised Chloé Zhao, the film’s director, for taking the time to really get to know each character, despite the ensemble cast. This helped fans connect with many, if not all of them.

Us – 1,600 searches

Us tells the story of a family of African Americans fighting for their lives against four attackers who have assumed the identities of each family member. The numerous plot twists and turns culminate in a major one at the movie’s conclusion, which is probably why Us is so high on this list. There is never a dull moment.

The Lost Daughter – 1,500 searches

Focusing on the many facets of motherhood through the story of Leda, a mother who is distant from her child. Olivia Coleman plays Leda, a woman on vacation with her own young daughter who develops a complicated relationship with her. Leda discovers her own buried and complex feelings about the choices she has made in her life through that relationship.
