The British Museum wins the Outstanding Licensing IP Award (Museum & Art Category) at the 16th China Licensing Exhibition

On October 17-19, 2023, the 16th CLE China Licensing Expo was held at the New International Expo Center in Shanghai. The exhibition was attended by local and international licensers, licensees and agents from different fields.
As a renowned licensing management company in the field of cultural and artistic, ALFILO BRANDS showcased at this expo with international IP's such as The British Museum , Museum of Fine Arts, Boston , Victoria and Albert Museum , The National Gallery , The Metropolitan Museum of Art and BBC Earth. Additionally, they presented local Chinese IPs like Narwhal Ocean Research Center(亿角鲸), Nanjing Museum (南京市博物总馆)and XiLing Seal Engraver's Society (西泠印社).
At the exhibition, ALFILO BRANDS showcased diverse licensing products and successful past cases. Among them, the latest project: The British Museum x JAMES JOYCE COFFETEL (Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet themed), Narwhal Ocean Research Center x Erdos 1980 (Polar Outwear Series) and the National Galler x Dunhuang Musical Instrument Factory (Master Series instrument collaboration) made a surprising debut.
Alfilo Brands' pavilion received warm welcome by IP licensers and potential clients, serving as a platform to connect, communicate and create business opportunities. As the exclusive licensing managing partner of The British Museum in Greater China Area, Alfilo Brands is very exited to witness and contribute to the 4th consecutive win of The British Museum at China Licensing Expo Awards. Ms. Agata Kocon (Licensing Coordinator at The British Museum) was present at the exhibition,met with partners and clients, and accepted the awards on behalf of The British Museum.
In addition to successful commercialisation endeavours of foreign IP's in China, Alfilo Brands also explores the commercial & cultural potential to unite Eastern and Western IP's and creates successful collaborations between Chinese and Western museums. At the "Cross-Border IP Collaboration" seminar, co-founder of Alfilo Brands, Liza Zhang, shared the case of "East Meets West", a dual-IP product licensing project between the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Shanghai Museum curated by Alfilo Brands. With these two strong IP's endorsement, the influence and reach of the licensed products are amplified, and the collaboration was widely reported in China for it's creative designs and fine execution.
