British Council offers GREAT Scholarships for International students

British Council?grants GREAT Scholarships from?universities in?the?UK in?a?number?of?disciplines?to?students?from?18?countries.?Each?award?is?a minimum of?￡10,000?for?tuition?fees?for?a?one-year?postgraduate?taught program.

Each scholarship is funded by the GREAT Britain Campaign and the British??Council, in partnership with UK higher education institutions.

As a business partner of the British Council, international students can obtain GREAT Scholarships from AHZ Associates. All GREAT scholars will be invited to a welcoming event in the first semester and a networking event in the second semester as part of the program.

GREAT Scholarships are available to students from the following countries. Let’s see which scholarships are on offer in your country-

Eligible countries

• Bangladesh

GREAT scholars must:

• Be a citizen of Bangladesh/ India/ Pakistan or Nigeria?
• Have an undergraduate degree, be motivated, and have an interest in the proposed subject area
• Meet the English language requirement of the UK HEI
• Establish an engagement with the UK as a scholar, through personal and academic fulfillment
• Be willing to attend a networking event of all UK-based GREAT scholars to discuss experiences and capture perceptions of studying in the UK
• Be willing to maintain contact with the British Council and their HEI and act as an ambassador for the GREAT Scholarships
• As an alumnus of the GREAT Scholarships, be willing occasionally to speak to potential candidates about his or her own experience of studying in the UK.

Aston University

Aston University has four GREAT Scholarships, each worth ￡10,000, available for the 2023-24 academic year. Three scholarships are for any taught master's program for students, the subjects you can apply for –

• MSc Entrepreneurship
• MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences
• LLM International Commercial Law

Keele University

Keele University is offering 12 GREAT Scholarships, each worth ￡10,000, available for the 2023-24 academic year for students from the following subjects:

• MSc Computer Science
• MSc Advanced Computer Science
• MSc Accounting and Financial Management
• MSc Business Analytics
• MSc Enterprise and Innovation
• MA Human Resource Management
• MSc International Business
• MSc Investment Management
• MSc Management
• MSc Marketing
• MBA

The remaining scholarship, for a student from Nigeria, is available for a taught master's program in:

• MSc Environmental Sustainability and Green Technology

Robert Gordon University

Robert Gordon University is offering four GREAT Scholarships, each worth ￡10,000, available for the 2023-24 academic year for students from these particular subjects:

• MSc Energy Transitions and Sustainability
• MSc Business Analytics
• Architecture and the Built Environment

Ulster University

The scholarships are available for any taught master's program at Ulster University, Northern Ireland campuses for September 2023 intake. Ulster University is offering five GREAT Scholarships, each worth ￡10,000, available for the 2023-24 academic year for students from these subjects only:

• MSc Data Science (with Applied Research option)
• MSc International Tourism & Hospitality Management (with Applied Research option)
• MSc in Pharmaceutical Science

University of East Anglia

The scholarships are for any taught master's program. The University of East Anglia has five GREAT Scholarships, each worth ￡10,000, available for the 2023-24 academic year for students from these programs only:

• MA Global Development
• MSc Global Business Management
• LLM Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law

University of Hull

The University of Hull is offering 12 GREAT Scholarships, each worth ￡10,000, available for the 2023-24 academic year. It will be available for these subjects only:

• MA TESOL
• MSc Advertising and Marketing
• MSc Renewable Energy

University of Southampton

The University of Southampton is offering four GREAT Scholarships, each worth ￡10,000, available for the 2023-24 academic year for students from these programs only:

• Faculty of Medicine.

The scholarship for India is available for the following taught master's program:

• MSc Electrochemistry and Battery Technologies

The scholarship for Nigeria is available for the following taught master's programs:
