Britain must open to the world - Brexit Central

Finally on the BrexitCentral website today, we have a piece by Brian Sturgess, Chief Economist and Managing Editor of World Economics, who writes that the UK must send a welcoming message to the world that free-trading Britain is open for business. Part of this should be to pledge right now - before we formally become an independent trading nation again - to oppose protectionist measures proposed in Brussels during our final months with a seat at the EU table. Doing so will send a signal to the world that our commitment to free trade is expressed in deeds, as well as mere words.
