Brisbane Lions vs West Coast Eagles Preview
This Saturday afternoon a vital game for both teams will take place at the Gabba. The Lions with a win could jump to the top 4 if the stars align with a Bulldogs loss and percentage boost for themselves from a win. The 9th placed Eagles need a win to make finals this season and need other results to go their way which is quite unlikely given the circumstances. With star players Josh Kennedy, Brad Sheppard, Tim Kelly and Jeremy McGovern all outs with injury, it seems extremely unlikely for them to win. Brisbane have named an unchanged lineup for the mouthwatering clash that could decide spots in September. The Lions are just one win and 1.8% away from the Western Bulldogs in 4th. If they can gain that over the Bulldogs, they will play either Port, Geelong or Melbourne depending on the Geelong-Melbourne game. West Coast on the other hand are 13% behind Essendon and are relying on Collingwood or Carlton to beat the teams currently in 7th and eighth. Our prediction is that the Lions will come out on top by 14 points at the Gabba.
