We're incredibly excited to take a moment and shine the spotlight on some truly remarkable individuals who have been with us every step of the way on this incredible journey. Today, we have the privilege of celebrating the outstanding accomplishments of none other than the incredible Lucy Muigai!

Lucy serves as the Chief Executive Officer of B Lab Africa, a social impact organization that takes pride in being an integral part of a globally connected network of mutually dependent organizations. These organizations are at the forefront of driving substantial changes in our economic systems. Working hand-in-hand, they strive to formulate top-tier standards, policies, programs, and tools that are beneficial to businesses. They also take on the responsibility of certifying companies, often referred to as B Corps, that are pioneering groundbreaking ways of conducting business.

Lucy has given the past six years of her professional journey to B Lab Africa, and she also played a crucial role as part of the founding team. Throughout her career, Lucy has accumulated a wealth of experience that spans more than 15 years. This experience extends across numerous sectors and includes working with some of the leading organizations in the developmental space.

Passionate and persuasive, Lucy sees beyond the conventional idea of businesses simply providing returns to shareholders. She firmly believes in aiding businesses towards success while ensuring they produce a positive impact on all their stakeholders. Lucy is an advocate for the transformative potential of businesses to address our most pressing social and environmental challenges.

Aside from her role at B Lab Africa, Lucy lends her extensive knowledge and insights as a Board Advisor at Bringo Fresh, a social enterprise that operates in the Agri-tech sector, providing invaluable support to businesses in sourcing fresh, high-quality produce directly from farms, ensuring competitive prices.

Lucy's academic accomplishments lie in Finance, Accounting, and Financial Planning. She holds a Master’s degree in Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University of Technology, in Western Australia. Her impressive educational background is yet another testament to her dedication and commitment towards her vision of driving economic change. Lucy's experience, passion, and education make her an influential figure in the sphere of business development and sustainability.
