Bringing your virtual events back to life
Seems my post on Virtual Events on Dead struck a chord. From the comments and reshares, we seem to agree on one major thing: Participants are tired of boring virtual events.
So as we look forward to 2021 and another 6 months of virtual events and experiences, we thought we'd turn to the experts in engagement, the sultans of shindigs, the titans of technology... YOU. Yes, you.
You know what your audience wants and you know what your executives want... and you have to craft your experience with about 10,000 inputs and stakeholders from all across your organization.
We've identified a handful of key gaps that you may be looking to solve for your 2021 virtual event portfolio and are inviting creators of these experiences to offer a sample of their talents so you can see if it's a fit for your audience next year.
Remember back when we could be with other people during the holidays and there were magical holiday markets where you could shop with small business to acquire gifts or great things for the new year? We've decided to hold one of those on December 10th, but for Virtual Experiences. This is 100% free to all participants (talent and event organizers). We're offering it up "unconference-style," which means the suppliers can select their time slot without any complicated event scheduling logistics. GET ACCESS HERE.
Large Scale Events
For Event Organizers: If you have a large-scale event or one that will be shared via webcast (i.e. with chat as the primary means of attendee communication, you may be looking for entertainers or games that can be played in this environment.
For Talent: If you are an entertainer, magician, comedian, Improv troupe, game show host, or any other kind of talent that scales to a broadcast audience, you are welcome to offer a sample set in this category.
Small, Interactive Experiences
For Event Organizers: If you are creating an experience for a smaller, "face-to-face" group (like a Zoom meeting-style audience), these experiences are great for your group!
For Talent: If you create interactive, small-group experiences like mixology, arts and crafts, interactive Improv, or anything that engages audiences and helps them have a shared experience, this is your spot!
Tech Platforms and Tools
For Event Organizers: If you are exploring the 18,947 different virtual event platforms that exist in the world, or are looking for add-ons to a platform you are already using, this is the place to explore.
For Tech Companies: If you have a virtual event platform, add-on, or helpful tool that can assist event organizers in delivering an epic virtual event to their audience, claim a spot in this category for a demo or conversation about your tool.
Grab Bag of Fun
This is the overflow room for ideas and fun that may not fit into a category above, or may cross multiple categories, or if other categories are just already full.
The Idea Factory
Got an event problem and need some ideas? The Idea Factory is IN SESSION! Bring your challenges and let's brainstorm on solutions. The kick-off session will be a brainstorm about awards galas and Circle of Excellence events.
We're excited to get people together for this holiday celebration and exploration of experiences that you can use in your events throughout 2021! This experience is free for everyone and brought to you by Haute Dokimazo and QiqoChat.

3 年I love the overriding theme as one of creating connections to content through participation. The key here is that the element of participation has to directly connect to unique content and dynamic delivery. It has to create an APPLICATION level of impact. A participant, irrespective of the scale of the event, has to have the opportunity to engage a new action or skill to make them better than they were at the start of the program. That's a big challenge, but one that can be designed to.
