Depending on the industry, the next few days may show some level of slowing down and actively picking up, in one way or another there is always something going on, right?
Regardless of the season, it becomes very important to identify what season your business is in and/or what stage you are preparing your business to be in.
If your organization is a midsize business or small business, chances are you are executing in more than one role. Nothing wrong with it unless you spend too much time in your business and very little or nothing on your business. ?
In any rate, regardless of the above, please do the effort to commit and spend time on your business doing the following activity:
1.??????Create a list of the main successes you had in your business in 2022
2.??????Create a list of the main failures you had in your business in 2022
Then grab the list of failures and write down the answers to these questions (for each failure):
What changed in my business when this happened?
Although painful what were/are the benefits we received?
What have changed in my decision making process that gave me more clarity about these type of problems?
What was good about it?

You can add more questions as you please.
Next, proceed to reflect on the questions and your answers. You will realize that if not for those situations your business -and your self- would be in a different place. Why? Because most likely you made decisions as a result of such a situation and from there you were able to experience first hand the good, the bad and the ugly, And move on!
You may ask, what about the successes from point 1 above?
The answer is easy, they certainly count and for sure you celebrated when they were achieved. Now, think about this, how much of those successes were achieved as a result of the failures? You may say, “they have nothing to do with each other” Really? Think again.
Let me explain, the pain you experienced going thru those failures have shaped you or pushed you to grow in one way or another, in your personal life and professionally.
Make time to do this, I am sure you will get additional insights about yourself and therefore for your business.
Merry Christmas!
