Bringing a taste of Singapore to China's largest B2B cross-border tradeshow – Trustana @ the 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE)

Trustana joined thousands of international exhibitors and trade visitors at the 5th CIIE in Shanghai, China. The event brought together the latest products, trends and technologies from various industries around the world.??

Encompassing both digital and in-person interactions, the event was bustling with businesses showcasing their solutions, at the same time looking for inspirations on the next ‘big thing’. It was heartening to see the growth and innovation of the cross-border trade sector.?

Helping our suppliers connect offline & online – going live at CIIE?

Located at the Singapore Pavilion, the Trustana booth featured 10+ homegrown brands including Song Fa, Oh Chin Hing, The Kettle Gourmet, Shi Le Po, Aroma Truffle, Tan Soon Mui, Coffee Hock, Fong Yit, Dragon Brand Bird's Nest, Tungsan and Chinatown Food. Buyers had a chance to see the products in-person, try samples and learn about the brand story and what makes them so unique & popular.?

Aside from the tradeshow grounds, our suppliers were also featured in the Digital Import Expo – a virtual initiative led by the Singapore Business Federation. 5 renowned Chinese internet celebrities visited the booth for a live broadcast, allowing buyers to join us at the exhibition virtually. ?The hosts introduced Trustana's B2B wholesale marketplace and recommended these top-selling products which are new to the China market.

Unlocking opportunities at the Singapore-China Economic and Trade and Investment Forum?

The annual Singapore-China Economic and Trade and Investment Forum was held on 7 Nov, in conjunction with CIIE. Hosted by the Singapore Chamber of Commerce and Industry and supported by Enterprise Singapore, this year’s theme is "Creating a Winning Future Together", aiming to promote business cooperation between Singapore and China.?

Wen Yiwu, represented Trustana to talk about our commitment in building a robust cross-border trade ecosystem, providing buyers and sellers with a reliable, end-to-end trade solution. He also shared plans about our cooperation with respective government bodies in Singapore and China to support suppliers in their market expansion. This program will allow them to quickly tap into new distribution channels and expand abroad.?

As the world's largest import trade exhibition, the CIIE provides excellent exposure for international brands and products to enter the Chinese market. This is Trustana's first participation - with a focus on Singapore's renowned F&B products. As we continue to expand our services in the upcoming months, Trustana will also be launching new brands from Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea and other emerging markets into China.
