Bringing Biometric Technology to the Forefront in Higher Education

It’s no secret that higher education is facing a number of challenges that impact students, faculty and institutions as a whole. A few of those that I have my eye on are a changing job market that demands different skills, research funding that remains under pressure, and a struggle to integrate into curriculum the tools and technologies that will be essential in tomorrow’s – if not today’s - workplace.

For these reasons, and many others, we've been working on a concept at iMotions that we call EduLabs. It cannot address every challenge, but we do think it can power amazing opportunities for students, faculty and researchers, for funding, and cross-campus collaboration.

For years, we’ve been working with academic partners to integrate human behavior research labs, providing them access to the best technologies to unleash the power of human behavior research.

A holistic academic ecosystem?

In creating EduLabs for both advanced research and classroom teaching, we’ve looked more broadly at the challenges faced today. How could we create a dynamic but accessible, holistic and scalable solution that’s designed to address an institution’s unique emphasis and opportunities.
