Bringing AI-Enabled Cancer Detection to Alaska

Cancer is a reality we cannot ignore: 1 in 2 people will develop cancer in their lifetime, and 1 in 3 will die from it. Early detection is the key to survival, yet many rural communities struggle with access to preventive screenings.

Oatmeal Health is on a mission to change that. As an AI-powered virtual cancer clinic, we partner with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) to bring free, Medicare-covered lung cancer screenings to underserved communities.

In Alaska, where distance and provider shortages limit healthcare access, we are exploring partnerships with the Sunshine Community Health Center in Talkeetna and Seward, Alaska. Our AI-driven screening technology helps identify high-risk patients earlier, improving health outcomes and saving lives.

With no cost to FQHCs or their patients, Oatmeal Health makes it easier to close the cancer care gap.

Are you a healthcare provider or community leader in Alaska? Let’s work together to improve cancer detection and survival rates.
