Step 1. Literally put on your confidence shoes and take a lap! You heard that right! Step 2. Grab 3 pieces of paper and a pen.

Step 3. Take a deep breath and focus your energy on how bad @$$ your shoes are.

Step 4. Turn your focus on how much of a bad @$$ you are!!! ???♂????♀?

Piece of paper 1: Contact Info

- First and last name with any designations associated with your name (PMP, SHRM, etc.) 

- Cell phone number

- Email

- LinkedIn URL 

- Links to any professional portfolios

- Town, State abbreviation and zip code

Piece of Paper # 2: Your Skills

- Technical/ Hard Skills: Industry-specific, learned through training, based on technical knowledge.

- Soft Skills: Useful across industries, natural abilities, related to emotional intelligence. 

Piece of Paper # 3: Top 3 Proudest Professional Accomplishments

-What are you known for?

-What project did you blow away?

-What examples would you give for justifying a bonus or salary increase?

Step 5. Put your head down and enjoy those shoes a little longer!!! 

Homework: IF any of your contact information isn't updated or unprofessional, your homework is to correct that.

- Voicemail: Say your first and last name

- Email: Keep it to your name or something related to your industry. No 1967 or hotmama99.

- Customized LinkedIn URL: On the top right corner of your page, just below the ribbon, it will say Edit public profile and URL, click there. An edit screen will pop up and on the right side, you will see your URL with a blue pencil next to it. Click the pencil and customize your URL.

- Portfolio: Update it or create one if your field prefers one.
