Oh the drama…
…I hear it all the time when people say, “I don’t have the money, I can’t afford it.”
And in saying this, they stop themselves from doing the thing that they really, really want to do, that will move their business and their life forward, as I explain in today’s video.
I know I could be ruffling some feathers here because maybe you say things like this too sometimes.
But here’s what I want you to understand about getting out of the “drama” of money…and why committing to the hustle gets you everything that you want (watch this):
I call it “Oh the drama” because there’s so much emotion that surrounds this way of thinking around a lack of money, and it stops women from seeing the opportunities that are all around them.
I see people use phrases like, “I need to put a roof over my head,” and “I need to be able to put food on the table for my family.”
And listen, I get it.
There are people who are in REAL poverty in this country, and in many countries. But I’m not talking about those people.
I’m talking about people who are self-employed who have opportunities to make money all around them, and yet they play the “I’m a victim” card.
So here’s what I want to explain (I hope you’ll suspend judgment for just a little bit longer).
I invite you to start thinking about being RESOURCEFUL.
Right away when the money’s not in the bank account, it’s absolutely easy to say, “I don’t have the money.”
But you are actually full of money…at least, in terms of opportunities.
So I want you to look around, because there’s money in your life right now.
Be resourceful.
For years I said, “You’ve got to become like MacGyver” (that 80’s TV show in the U.S.).
If you want something that’s a bit out of reach, get scrappy, ask for help…
“You’ve got to strategize.”
It’s all about finding the opportunities around you to bring in the money, and then actioning them.
If you sat down and made a list of all the people who have expressed interest in working with you…who are not yet clients because you haven’t closed them yet…you would find the money.
If you actioned some advice that’s been given to you…or read the right book to help you strategize…it would bring in the money.
If you just got the mentorship that you need…if you found a way to make the first payment and then worked your butt off…the money would come.
This is about getting out of your comfort zone.
This is about getting scrappy.
It’s about THE HUSTLE.
And every once in a while, that’s what’s required.
Become resourceful, become creative. Do whatever it takes and you will find the money, and you can afford whatever it is that you want.
That’s what I’ve done many times in my life.
Every once in a while, bring on the hustle and you’ll get what you want.
And if you have been following me for a while now and you’ve used “not having the money” as the “reason” for not working with me even though every part of your body knows you are meant to be with me in the Boldheart Business program…I want to lovingly invite you to rethink this.
REPLACE “I don’t have the money, I can’t afford it” with “I can find the money.”
Become resourceful, become creative. Do whatever it takes and you will find the money, and you can afford whatever it is that you want.
What would happen if you stopped thinking about “if” you could afford it, and instead asked yourself “how” you could afford it instead?
So many of our members wish that they had said yes sooner. Don’t let that be you.
