Bring euphoria into the life of your employees with an unforgettable virtual Christmas Party

Another challenge for HR teams this year: Christmas parties in Covid-19 times. Once again, creativity is needed: if our people can't come to the party, the party needs to come to them!

At New Flag, we sent a branded surprise gift box home to our 200 employees in 9 countries. Within that box every employee - doesn't matter if Junior or Director level - received the same bonus on a Mastercard gift card. #oneteam

With that gift card we wanted to make sure that a heart desire of each employee comes true.

We then celebrated at a 3-hour virtual show: With live music, quiz games, our own "Wetten dass" show and a huge award ceremony with funny prizes.

The surprise was perfect when the advisory board appeared dressed as a surprise Santa Claus and all employees have produced a music video for the Managing Directors. At the end of the evening we were exhausted but happy and united as one strong team. And of course, everyone in front of and behind the camera was tested before the show. 

It again shows that the work of HR has never been as important as it is now in a remote, hybrid and very distanced working environment
