This week our learners attended BRILLIANT Festival at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool , the North West's biggest education event.

Not only did our learners get to spend a great day exploring the exhibition, but they also took part in a live Agent Academy Fuse session, hosted by our very own Zoe Wallace (she/her)

The interactive roundtable was aimed at bridging the gap between education and employers. Our cohort spoke to educators and business professionals about their experience with gaining employment post-university and what educators could have done to make this transition smoother.

On behalf of the learners, we would like to say a massive thank you to the organisers of BRILLIANT Festival for inviting Agent Academy to the event. We're looking forward to getting involved and visiting the exhibition again in 2025!


As an extra treat this week, Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse theatres Mark Da Vanzo Sarah Ogle FCIM invited our learners back to watch 'Play On!' - A retelling of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night with a live band set amidst the jazz scene of New York's Cotton Club ??

The themes and representations of black characters and their stories match perfectly for our learners' client challenge with the Race Equality Hub ( Liverpool City Region Combined Authority ). They will be developing a creative marketing campaign designed to encourage productive conversations about Race and equity in the workplace.

As part of their on-going skills development, our learners were challenged by The Playhouse to generate social media content to promote 'Play On!'. They captured audience reactions immediately after the play, and also had a chance to interview a few members of the cast. This was a fantastic opportunity for our cohort to try their hand at content creation, and get their work distributed on a brand's platform for the first time.
