Brigitte Shull joins Gold Leaf
The research publishing and library services consulting firm Gold Leaf welcomed Brigitte Shull to its team in June, 2023. Brigitte joins as Senior Consultant, focusing on strategic planning, open research transformation, digital product innovation and product management, and publishing development.??

?Brigitte joins after 18 years in the industry, having worked on open access transformation and services, development and launch of digital products, and books and journals publishing at both non-profit and commercial publishers. She joins from Cambridge University Press & Assessment, where she was Senior Vice President for the US and Director of Scholarly Communications Research & Development. She has held past positions at Springer Nature, Palgrave Macmillan, and Pearson Education and is currently the co-chair of the AUPresses Open Access Committee.?Her experience includes facilitating the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, leading the build and launch of the preprint server/open research platform Cambridge Open Engage and managing a global books and journals editorial team through the merger of Macmillan Science & Scholarly and Springer Business + Media.??
