Good morning hoopers! What happens if you have a negative attitude about EVERYTHING? It's tough for ANYTHING positive to happen! Why? Because whether your outlook is accurate or not, you're only going to see the negative side. Your coach can be playing you 30 minutes in a 32 minute game... and you'll still find a reason to complain. "Why did he take me out" or "He shouldn't have put her in the game" or something petty.
But the other side is true as well. Let's say you're not getting a ton of playing time, and your coach DOES, in fact, suck, and your training isn't as fun as you'd like it to be... look on the brighter side. You can see the entire game from the best seat in the house... the bench. lol. That sucks, but at the same time, if you're paying attention, you have the opportunity to grow your understanding and basketball IQ. You can learn first hand what kind of coach/ manager/ leader you don't want to be in the future. You can develop your own training regiment and be innovative... That might be a personal calling for you. Maybe... or maybe not. But sitting on the bench upset isn't going to help you. Additionally, the time is going to pass by slowly for you.
Just remember, look on the bright side... it's pretty safe over there.
