Instagram are working on a feature that could extend the length of Reels to 10 minutes, directly competing with TikTok. This will see Instagram join the likes of YouTube, X and TikTok who have offered long-form content for a while.

LinkedIn is rolling out its own version of brand partnership tags, which means creators add official partnership labels for posts that they have received compensation for. This will give more transparency for creators as LinkedIn looks to evolve its offering for creators.

? YouTube lowers entry barrier for Partner Programme

YouTube has now lowered the entry for its partner programme in 33 more countries, meaning creators only need 500 subscribers to apply. This expansion will mean more creators can access monetisation features easily.
