A brief time in Belgium to reflect on global challenges of Europe and perspectives from the south

(News still in process)

I recently visited the Spiritual Centre La Pairelle, to attend the second encounter of Passion for Europe, inspired and invited by the testimony of Martin Maier, a German Catholic priest who would accelerated his trajectory during the '80s in El Salvador, testifying the violent episodes by the hands of the military that would costed the life of many innocents, including the remarkable Jesuits Ignacio Martín-Baro and Ignacio Ellacuría, who where assassinated in what has been denominated the Massacre of UCA (because of the acronym for the Central American University whom main chancellor was in that moment Ellacuria itself).

I will have the opportunity to release in two deliveries a personal interview conducted with Fr. Martin Maier and some memories of the event. For a while, I wanted to announce those writings coming, and share some pics, as well as a short video produced after the event by the Jesuit European Social Centre (JESC).

Finally, I would like to acknowledge for having let me join this extraordinary encounter. Special thanks for JESC, the group Passion for Europe, and all the warm colleagues during these days.
