Gear racks: Consistent system concept
With its rack and pinion drives, Stober has developed a compact, process-reliable easy-to-use system. The high-quality gear rack now rounds off the lower end of its range.
Palleting: Camera applications for even more application benefits
IEF-Werner offers camera applications for its palletisers, among other things, which can be used to monitor production processes and ensure the quality of components. Based on industrial image processing systems, they identify the position of a workpiece or certain geometric features, for example. In order to reduce the set-up time of these applications and thus increase the application benefits, the automation specialist developed them further: both the image and the evaluation can be displayed on mobile devices in addition to a central panel.
Robots vs. humans – Interview with Nabtesco about the new world of work
Automation, digitalization, globalization, new technologies and demographic change are transforming the world of work. This challenges employees and employers alike. Sarah Zielke (Junior Manager Human Resources) and Daniel Obladen (Head of Sales General Industries) from Nabtesco on robots, employee wellbeing and the future of work.
PC-based control for AGVs and mobile robots
Cost pressure and staff shortages are encouraging the use of AGVs and AMRs in intra- and production logistics. Beckhoff′s PC-based control technology is ideal for automating these autonomous systems.

Electric motor: Independent, energy efficient and sustainable
Innomotics is presenting the latest generation of energy-efficient motors and the cloud-based Industrial IoT platform “Inspire IQ” for the first time independendly.
Frequency converters: Cool climate, cool technology
The efficiency of refrigeration and air conditioning applications can be significantly improved through the use of flexible performance control. However, innovative refrigeration machines with powerful turbo or centrifugal compressors place high demands on frequency converter technology. The Lüneburg high-speed specialists at Sieb & Meyer have the right solutions in their portfolio. These enable highly efficient applications with minimal rotor heating.
Energy chains: Tough requirements, flexible solutions
Robust steel energy chains from Tsubaki Kabelschlepp have proven themselves in, among other things, horizontal drilling systems that enable trenchless laying of pipelines over long distances. So that the suppliers of the drilling systems can act as flexibly as possible, Tsubaki Kabelzieh implements the energy chains as customer-specific standard solutions with short delivery times.
Clutches: Protect machines and products
Enemac ECH safety clutches reliably minimize costly repairs and machine downtimes thanks to sophisticated torque limitation (overload protection).
Siemens to sell Innomotics to KPS Capital Partners
The Managing Board and Supervisory Board of Siemens AG have approved the sale of Innomotics – a world-leading electric motors and large drives company – to KPS?Capital Partners, LP (“KPS”). The contracting parties have signed a corresponding agreement. The purchase price (enterprise value) is €3.5 billion.
