Bridging the subjective with the objective
April 22nd myself and my partner Ashley Watson will be presenting a workshop to educator and community stakeholders that bridges the subjectivity of the arts with objective evidence based strategies of developing social-emotional intelligence. Here is a recent interview I did with the WNY Afterschool Network.
When I am in the process of developing a presentation I like to set goals. One goal for this workshop is to present a unique perspective in educating youth in self-development. A perspective that will take the foreign nature out of social-emotional learning and simplify that process in a way that makes it easier for the participants to cultivate healthy behaviors and characteristics to build the best quality of life possible.
Wish me luck!
