Indira has created a new market by merging fashion, politics, culture, and philanthropy. From that, Fashion Night Ignites was born. The first annual event was held at the elegant Perry Belmont House, and brought together over 250 global diplomats and international fashion influencers. It was presented by the Czech Republic, Malta, and Slovenian Embassies. Designers from all over the globe were celebrated. The event received lots of local press including The Washington Post, and WJLA. Indira has produced other events such as Glamour and Diplomacy and Beyond the Little Black Dress fashion show. She is the first person ever to have a live fashion event with a DJ at the State Department.
