1 年I talk to a. students/ aspirants often and equally often to b. recruiters. standard question is what will you be doing in your 1st year or 2 for catagory a and which position you are hiring a fresher for. Standard answer is training and trainee. I ask a question to myself then, what were we doing for last 4 years with the students then. That sets the narrative for need of skill gap analysis and active involvement of industry, who are the consumers for products of University and other Higher Education Institutes in the teaching learning process at institute. NEP has aptly addressed to this as far as framework and empowerment is concerned for the HEs, now it is on the Institutes and Industry to make maximum of it..
