This is very interesting and important for the future of hospitality. I would like to add an example how well it can be done. Look at https://jacyzhotel.com/ They have extreme upsell and a good way to sell packages. All directly connected to the hotel management system. There you can book conferences, table reservations, packages, products, parking..and all directly to one PMS. Their PMS have an incredible API and solves all departments in one client instead of making the IBE work with several systems backoffice. And the API is built witj two way solution, even with the mypage for the guests. And soon even SPA treatments will be available and goes back to only one API from their PMS. So this hotel use one client for all their departments even as a POS for all of their restaurants and bars. And on top only one IBE. This solves the total cosy of ownership and a truly great automation of the guest flow for their extensive product portfolio.
