From October 29 to 30, the 17th JCtrans Global Freight Forwarders Conference was successfully held in Doha, the capital of Qatar. As the premier annual gathering of the logistics industry, this conference not only undertook the critical mission of fostering deep integration, extensive cooperation, and innovative development within the global logistics sector but also built a far-reaching bridge of wisdom and collaboration that transcends borders and links the world. In attendance were 440 top logistics companies and 616 distinguished industry leaders and elites from 72 countries and regions, all joining forces to shape the future blueprint of logistics development.

Opening Ceremony Highlights

The conference officially began on October 29, featuring speeches by Jason Hoey, Commercial Director of CJ ICM FZCO, and Crystal Zheng, Senior Vice President of JCtrans Membership and Events.

Today, I am honored to share with everyone a special video that captures CJ ICM FZCO’s recent milestone achievement—a major logistics project in Iraq involving the transportation of 1.2 million tons of cargo. Through the close cooperation of our expert management and engineering teams, the project navigated complex stages including maritime transport, heavy lifting, installation, and assembly. Not only was the project completed successfully, but it also reached its goals three months ahead of schedule. Over more than 2 million work hours, CJ ICM FZCO maintained an impeccable safety record, earning industry-wide praise and honors for this extraordinary achievement.

On the evening of the 29th, under sparkling lights and in a warm atmosphere, the welcome dinner—proudly sponsored by Shanghai League Shipping Co., Ltd.—was set in motion. Carefully curated segments brought the evening’s ambiance to a peak.

Tesla Miao, Global Conference General Manager, opened the dinner by welcoming and thanking the guests on behalf of the organizers and announced a major conference in Dubai for the following year, eagerly anticipating the reunion.

Following this, Jeff Shi, Director of Shanghai League Shipping Co., Ltd., spoke on behalf of the clients, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the organizers and sharing his impressions of the event.
