Bridges of Oneness

Bridges of Oneness

When one began life as an account planner, the Bibles on?the subject were clear, one had to uncover an exceptional insight that the teams could shape into something remarkable.

?An act of forensic observation, like an anthropologist.

You decoded behaviors and filled journals while gingerly maintaining your distance.

?Business schools similarly espouse the stiff upper lip.

?Little vulnerability and emotion are permitted in the corporate world.

?CSR week is performed with mechanical precision.

?Our emotions are primarily reserved for our loved ones.

?

Consequently, there is an intimacy gap between business

and the world it is situated in.

?A deeper reason for the crisis around diversity, inclusion, and planet

is the separation of companies from the world they live in.

?Companies are ultimately people, and if they aren’t connected with the people and natural world around them, the companies are disconnected.

?

Having been involved in writing ‘Utopia Brands’, I increasingly wonder ?

if utopias can be better imagined in the head only if there is space made

for people and the planet, in the heart first.

And so inspired by notable non-separation advocates like Satish Kumar (Radical Love) Chavalit Frederick Tsao , Chris Laszlo (Quantum Leadership)...

multiple conversations back at Innate Motion on the subject...

and regular walks to photograph birds in the picturesque rainforest that is Singapore...

I wanted to share the ‘Bridges of Oneness'.

?A 'space' to share multiple inspirations and practices

for embodying connectedness.

?To step outside our business skins.

?To reintegrate with people and the natural world around us.

?Hope this journal fills with practices of connectedness from contributions far and wide!
