Conventional drainage damages the aesthetics of a bridge
Drainage pipes under the bridge deck often damages the visual aesthetics of a bridge. Bridge Drainage's kerb drainage system solves that problem by bringing the drainage system to the surface freeing the architects creative abilities to improve the landscape.
With the drainage system on the surface, an efficient and optimal drainage is achieved without impacting the aesthetics of the structure
At Bridge Drainage , we strive to help unleash architects creativity, We develop and supply systems that will accompany that creativity and allow them to improve the landscape.
With sustainability becoming a major point in bridge construction, conventional drainage systems based on gullies and pipes are becoming obsolete due to the limited lifetime of the materials used in them and the potential impact it has on the durability and sustainability of the bridge along with requiring significant inspection and maintenance frequencies.
To answer the sustainability need, we have developed several materials that will elongate the lifespan of the bridge and offer a high resistance drainage solution. the most sustainable is a composite made from 70% recycled plastic and 30% calcium, a composite that respects the european norm EN1433 and has a weight resistance class D400 (resistant to 40 tons of pressure) making it highly suitable to the new era of bridge construction.
