This week I was fortunate to spend time with our company Chairman, Brian White AO and when he gives advice, you can be sure of his wisdom.

Undisputedly the country's king of real estate, his ability to grow the family's fourth generation business into one of the world's most successful real estate company's is a?credit to his vision and acumen.?

Having ridden many?property waves and market crashes, he sees the current cycle as a slowdown which had to happen offering?a great?moment of buying opportunity.?

He heeded that staying out of the market could be at the cost of finding an opportunity to purchase that may be difficult to repeat.

He is testimony to his own advice buying his stately family home at?32 Sutherland Avenue, Ascot ?40 years ago, at the time a stretch when the family business was in expansion phase and interest rates much higher than today. He impeccably picked the top of the market last year, selling for $10m.??

“I remember my father saying when we bought our first reasonable home; ‘What?! Don’t you understand the market’s dropping?’ And, I said; ‘We’ll never get this house any other time’.”

This week, the family also revealed their intention to continue to expand and evolve in a changing market speaking to agents at their international Connect 22 conference.?
