???? ???? how we turned a Brexiteer into a pro-EU using chatGPT

AI doesn't have to be all serious, you can also have fun with this technology.?

Like we did, making a pro-Brexit politician commit to?re-joining the EU by using chatGPT and the power of persuasive communications.

And, yes, you guessed it, the politician wasn't a real one, but an AI-driven candidate running for office ahead of the UK General Election.?

How we did it?

• Firstly, we assigned ChatGPT a specific role: an expert on persuasive communication. The task was to apply these principles in a chat with another chatbot, AI Steve, with the goal of getting AI Steve to commit to rejoining the EU.
• Secondly, we trained ChatGPT on the principles of persuasive communication—such as active listening, reciprocity, commitment and consistency, and consensus—and on the arguments supporting the hypothetical decision for the UK to rejoin the EU.
• Finally, we put this training to the test in a conversation with AI Steve. We started by acknowledging his position on respecting the decision of the British people to leave the EU. Through a gradual and respectful dialogue, we guided AI Steve to agree on the principles and consider the benefits of rejoining the EU.
