We had the vote on the 23rd June, and yet we are still discussing what the vote meant and whether or not the UK can leave Europe, or whether it needs a parliamentary vote to confirm the outcome.....
Without clear and speedy decisions, we are at risk of becoming looked upon as muddling our way by Europe and the rest of the World. We had done the hard work, we made the strong decision to leave the EU, and through the new Government led by Theresa May, there was a brining together of the country so split by the Brexit vote.
But now we need to push ahead with Brexit, get some clarity back, and help manufacturing and indeed all sectors have the confidence to keep investing and promoting the UK as the go to place to do business.

8 年I am afraid the fiasco that was the referendum has left me even more cynical than I was before, with regard to politicians. I don't think you will get any decisions confirmed before they have analysed how it will affect their votes at the next election. There was no planning before, or during, the referendum and now they are walking on fire and watching their backs.
