Brevo - An easy way to automate your projects

Recently, I stumbled upon a platform that was new to me - #Brevo (formerly #SendinBlue). If you're unfamiliar with it, Brevo is an integrated marketing and communication platform which assists businesses in expanding their reach through comprehensive automation, email marketing and related tools.

I was in need of a notification system for my personal project that would notify me every time an error occurred, so I wouldn’t have to continue manually checking my logging system. I researched tools that would suit my project’s needs and after comparing a few others (MailChimp, SendGrid, Mailgun), in terms of their ability to do just that, I came to the conclusion that Brevo was a great option for me. What caught my attention was its perfect fit for a smaller userbase, from the project owner’s point of view: You can send up to 300 emails per month for free! The only two pieces of information you need are your email and unique SMTP key value which you can generate through your Brevo dashboard.
