Fluorinated gases, also known as F-gases, are potent greenhouse gases used in various industrial applications. Their Global Warming Potential (GWP) can be as high as 23,000 times greater than that of carbon dioxide (CO2). The construction industry generates these gases while working on a variety of products, including air conditioning systems, insulation foams, fire suppressants, and high voltage switchgear.

BRE announces winners of BREEAM Awards 2024
The BREEAM Awards 2024 took?place on Wednesday 10th July in London, bringing together the global built environment industry to celebrate the best in sustainable design and development.
Among this year’s winners was HAUT Amsterdam – one of the tallest timber-hybrid buildings in the world – which took home the award for the Best New Construction for a Residential Project.?

HAUT Amsterdam first residential building in Netherlands to achieve BREEAM Outstanding
HAUT is a 21-storey residential building pioneering the use of cross-laminated timber (CLT) and one of the tallest mass-timber buildings in the world, recently awarded the BREEAM Award for Best New Construction for a Residential Project.?
The building's main structure comprises cross-laminated timber (CLT) walls and floors combined with a concrete core and foundation, significantly reducing its carbon footprint. The structure also includes solar panels on the facade, rooftop gardens with rainwater storage, and smart home automation systems.?
