Breathing helps, who knew.

I've been a little quiet over the last few months, the inspiration to write consistently just wasn't there. I am learning that the quiet is needed and all part of the process but Im ready to start talking again, Im feeling lighter and ready for what's ahead.

I spent the last week at a retreat hosted by Corinne Coppola in Nosara, Costa Rica. Nosara is about 3.5 hours from me and not a terrible drive, depending on what season you are in it's really beautiful. I had attended Corinne's last retreat there to provide pictures and video for her and I was only there for 24 hours but I know something really special was happening there.

This year I went as a full blown attendee and I was ready to do the work. I really wasn't sure what to expect, even though I had been there for 24 hours last year. I was totally open to the experience because the last few years have taken it out of me and I am ready for the next chapter.

Not a day goes by that I am not grateful for the life I am building here in Costa Rica, it truly is a gift to be here. But that doesn't change the fact that a lot has happened in the last few years, I am sure I am not alone. My mom passed away, so many people in my life who I loved have passed in the last 3 years, everything has changed, I have changed. I went to Nosara with an open heart and mind, ready to leave it all on the mat and let go.

We spent a lot of time meditating, breathing, sharing, listening and reflecting. Having that time to guide my thoughts and intentions was so helpful, if you are thinking about doing something like this but you aren't a super yoga person, I think you would really love to be on any retreat that Corinne offers. There is yoga but its gentle and kind, just like Corinne. And of course, there was a boat ride and the captain had a drone so you know I was all in. Two of my favorite things, boats and drones.

I got a lot of clarity last week, and of course a lot of it is related to my business and the work I am doing. Much like many of you, my business is a big part of who I am. My clients, are a reflection of me and my business will only grow as much as I do. I've got good stuff to offer the business community and I really enjoy it. I love working with healers, coaches, business owners and even gov agencies, who knew. I love strategy and cleaning up systems, sometimes even building them. Its a lot of work upfront but then it is done.

I have been feeling like 2024 is the year of relationships, its the only way any of us will survive all of this madness in the market and the world. Both personally and professionally, who you spend your time and dollars with, matters.

So, let's believe in the possibilities and do it together because frankly, it's more fun that way. Im going to go meditate for a few after hitting send because if I have learned anything this week it's that sunshine and oxygen are the most important tools in my toolbox so Im going to catch some of both.
