This breaks my heart !

Through all the stories, the wins, and the challenges that I had the privilege of sharing – there are of course common themes. Many of which show themselves despite of (and sometimes because of) success, achievements, and status/titles.
And many of them, break my heart.
I thought, if the thousands I’ve met and worked with had to work with some of those themes – maybe writing about it, would help you know that you’re not alone, that you’re not “unusual†and you start looking at things from a more practical lens – if you will.
Heartbreak 1: I’m not good enough.
This is broad theme, and while you might think it has a lot to do with age (the younger the more prominent) in fact, it has very little with it. Most of us, when we’re about to take a new and bold step, in a different direction – seem to think, “they†are better than us, they’re more capable. Or that, in the larger scheme of things – I’m not good enough.
Heartbreak 2: The imposter syndrome.
?Another very broad theme, when it makes you believe that if you decided to do something differently, step out of the ‘ordinary’ that ‘they’ will find out that you’re not equipped to be there, that you’re not fit, or qualified, or charming enough (whatever it is) and that makes you shy down from stepping up/out.
Heartbreak 3: What if I don’t succeed.
Broadly, people can be motivated by two ways: the desire to win or fear of failure. And while both can have “failure†as the outcome, they operate in distinctly different ways. One boosts you forward & the other stops you from progressing.
There are more but I’ll stop here (for now).
What REALLY breaks my heart?

What breaks my heart – is unfulfilled potential. Lost dreams and living in fear of what “they†will think, do, or how “they†would receive us. We don’t live alone, and obviously people can influence our lives – but HOW MUCH influence?
I don’t know when the right time for you is, and that’s a decision you’ll have to take for yourself.
But you’ve come SUCH a long way, you’re already ENOUGH and their opinions don’t pay the bills and so – should they be living in your head?
We (my success partners and I) have decided that 2024, will be the end of this, we’re breaking boundaries, setting challenges and LEAPING.
If we fail – we learn. If we get disappointed – we learn. If they don’t agree – we learn.
We learn what?
We learn to rebuild, to stand taller and to choose people who want to see us grow.
Because I know a lot of people are selling us “success†but we – we believe in growth.
Hope this serves you somehow, anyhow.
P.S. If you want to read more about how we handle those areas through the coaching and/or breakthrough stories let me know!
Love n light,
Noor
