More Americans have now been vaccinated for COVID-19, than have been infected with the illness. Close to 30 million people in the U.S. have now received at least one dose of the vaccine, surpassing the 27 million coronavirus cases since the onset of the pandemic. The Biden administration says it will begin shipping vaccines directly to pharmacies next week.

Brandon Daniels, Exiger President of Global Markets tells Fox Business Network this is the shot- in-the-arm the vaccine program needs:

Too Little, Too Late

House Democrats vote today on whether to strip Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of committee assignments. Kevin McCarthy, the top House Republican refused to punish Greene for spreading false and bigoted conspiracy theories and endorsing political violence against Democrats, condemning the Georgia freshman’s previous comments but declining to take away her posts on influential congressional committees.

Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell appears to have finally found his conscious. After sitting by idly for years as the GOP became the party defined by its promotion of lies and conspiracy theories, McConnell is saying enough. On Monday evening, as Marjorie Taylor Green's incendiary remarks continued to dominate headlines, McConnell released a blistering statement. It was aimed not only at Greene, but at resolving the information crisis afflicting the Republican Party and entire country.

"Loony lies and conspiracy theories are cancer for the Republican Party and our country," McConnell said in a statement. "Somebody who's suggested that no airplane hit the Pentagon on 9/11, that horrifying school shootings were pre-staged, and that the Clintons crashed JFK Jr.'s airplane is not living in reality. This has nothing to do with the challenges facing American families or the robust debates on substance that can strengthen our party," said McConnell. But where was he the last four years?

Meantime, House Democrats made their case to convict former president Donald Trump of inciting the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol in a sweeping impeachment brief filed with the Senate that accused Trump of whipping his supporters into a “frenzy” and described him as “singularly responsible” for the mayhem that ensued.

In the brief, the nine House impeachment managers argue that Trump is not protected by the First Amendment’s freedom of speech provision, which was never intended, they wrote, to allow a president to “provoke lawless action if he loses at the polls.”

Subway describes its tuna sandwich as “freshly baked bread” layered with “flaked tuna blended with creamy mayo then topped with your choice of crisp, fresh veggies.” It’s a description designed to activate the saliva glands — and separate you from your money.

It’s also fiction, at least partially, according to a recent lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The complaint alleges the ingredient billed as “tuna” for the chain’s sandwiches and wraps contains absolutely no tuna. A representative of Subway said the claims are without merit. Not only is its tuna the real deal, the company says, but it’s wild-caught, too.
