Breaking your glass ceiling

A glass ceiling is, in effect, an invisible barrier. In this case it represents the hurdle that stops you from getting to what you can both see and describe - an improved state of personal performance.?

And this leads to a greater frustration and sense of unease because you know you have the capability, you can articulate in detail what improved performance looks and feels like and yet you’re in a constant wrestling match with yourself to try and access it.

In this latest edition of "Your Peak Performance Coach", I will offer some guidance as to how you can begin to shatter this intangible barrier and move into your natural state of peak performance.

New You Tube Channel

In the past week I've created a new You Tube Channel where I'll share weekly videos focused on helping you improve your ability to access your capability. Generally there is no shortage or dearth of capability training; however this is undone by not improving your 'performability' in parallel. The upshot is that your PQ (Performance Quotient) - and I talk about this in an upcoming video - is compromised. Visit the channel at this link - check out the videos and if you find them interesting and useful please give a Like and then Subscribe so you're first to get upcoming updates.

When is a negative positive?

Where will you be in 12-18 months from now?

Mostly when that question is asked it’s a precursor for selling you something. Or somebody.

Somebody who will help, facilitate, guide you etc

A positive role model.?

But how about a slightly different tack.

Before onboarding a positive role model how about choosing a negative role model??

You know, someone who is the living manifestation of all your fears come true. Someone travelling, at a pace, down the road that feels just like your worst possible series of bad days.

A negative role model clearly shows you where you don’t want to go….and how to get there.?

Knowing what not to do is a great first step towards self improvement. Constantly challenging and checking yourself is the essence of deliberate practice.?

Consider choosing a negative role as well as a positive one.?

It’s just like having a compass and a map.?

A peak performer has to L.E.A.D

Among my clients I count first time entrepreneurs, long time business leaders, head coaches and sports professionals. They all have one similar challenge in common - they strive to lead better every day.

Leadership is multi-faceted, contextual and ambiguous.

But there are some common traits that good leaders display.....check out this short video to learn about the LEAD model that proves to be an effective start point.

Every day I coach, mentor and facilitate my clients towards an improved ability to their peak performance. The answers lie within you - working together you release the hand-brake, turn off auto-pilot and take control. Progress and a breakthrough to peak performance becomes a natural consequence.

These days we all need some additional support when it come to our performance - Does it feel like we'd be a good fit to work together?
