Here are our top stories today: The World Health Organization on Saturday declared the monkeypox outbreak a public health emergency of international concern.
The WHO chief?Dr. Tedros Adhanom Grebreyesus?said at a news conference in Geneva, Switzerland, that the committee saddled with the responsibility to advise him on public health emergencies was unable to reach a consensus but that he has decided to make the call to bring the disease under control.
