Breaking into Venture Capital: How 77 Partners is Opening Doors for Aspiring Female Investors in Queensland
In an exciting development for Queensland’s tech and startup scene, venture capital firm 77 Partners has launched a new initiative aimed at empowering women to break into VC.
?
Operating out of The Precinct, 77 Partners is delivering the free 12-week program to equip aspiring female VCs with the skills, mentorship, and opportunities to thrive in the fast paced world of startup investment.
?
The program begins with a three-day Base Camp retreat, bringing together ten high potential females in Queensland. From there, participants are guided by a leading Silicon Valley executive coach, gain insights through a series of VC workshops, and connect with top female investors from Australia and the US.
?
A key highlight of the program is the opportunity for at least one fellow to land a 12-month paid role as a VC Associate with 77 Partners, one of Queensland’s most dynamic VC firms.?
?
With the added chance to tap into The Precinct’s rich network of investors, founders, and tech leaders, the program is a game-changer for anyone looking to carve out a space in the venture capital industry.
?
Located in the heart of Brisbane city, The Precinct is quickly becoming the go-to hub for innovation and entrepreneurial growth and we’re thrilled to have firms like 77 Partners based here.
The 77 Venture Fellows program is currently underway and will conclude in late November 2024. If you’re a passionate female with a background in startups, technology, or simply a burning desire to support founders, this could be your gateway to a career in venture capital. Applications are now closed but expression of interests are open here for any future cohorts:
